Ahrex sa 280 strl 2 , Det hvite er et hvitt garn og det grønne er stonfo mutifil. , du kan også bruke ep fiber både på hvitt og grønt. Krystall flash er også med. Håper dette hjalp.

Between these steel bobbins how big is the thread bore, how does it compare to either to the red or blue elite. I'll tell you why I need to know. I use the PR knot to join braid to fluro or mono. Virtually all of the PR knot bobbins have problems or the Shimano which is very expensive. Also any idea where I can buy empty fly thread bobbins

Why add the hackle? The fly is foam, plus if a concern about floatation is an issue, then dress the fly with floatant.
The hackle is there to imitate legs mostly
I ruined a good bobbin holder with superglue doing that.
I don't use sponge I use natural materials I tie flying ant's

Only thing I would change would be that I'd do away with the clip and have an ordinary swivel to which I would knot the leader. The less metal work in a rig the better I think. But hey nice one.

Do you recommend lacquering the post and then lacquering the whip finish knots 🪢??
I usually wrap my thread around the post and then attach my hackle so there is no need for no glo at that point. I do apply some varnish on the knot when i am done

I build the extended body with long fibered dubbing moose mane and saturated with silicone , take it off the needle bend it to shape and let it dry.
